Matthew Jeffreys, MD, FCAP

Dr. Matthew Jeffreys joined the Northwest Arkansas Pathology team in 2019 as a Board Certified Pathologist in the fields of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Dr. Jeffreys is the Director of Anatomic Pathology Quality and Education at NW Pathology and joined the Arkansas Breast Cancer Specialists team in 2021.

Dr. Jeffreys earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) at Texas A&M University, and then completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Following medical school, he completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), as well as completing a Surgical Pathology fellowship with a subspeciality emphasis in gynecologic pathology. Dr. Jeffreys subspeciality clinical focus is currently in breast, gynecologic, and genitourinary pathology.
